Inform and educate the public on Physical Activity, Nutrition, and Obesity. Mobilize partnerships. As well as work on Community Transformation Grant. Develop policies and plans. Link people to services. Must have excellent interpersonal skills. Required to be computer literate. Should be able to type 35 words per minute. Position starting at $9.02 per hour. Health Program Specialist-
Provide services to clients in the TriCounty areas (Duchesne, Uintah & Daggett Counties) in the Reportable Disease Management program and Asthma program. Duties include: Able to work well with clients on sensitive issues. May advise patients on health maintenance and disease prevention. Provide epidemiology investigations of reportable diseases in the TriCounty area. Coordinate with hospitals and providers on statistical areas of concern. Promote public health and assists in reducing communicable disease statistics. Establish and coordinate asthma coalition, community needs assessment, Must have bachelors degree in a related area and be able to pass a pre-employment drug test and background check.
